Saturday Snapshot

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce of At Home With Books.  It’s easy to participate – just post a picture that was taken by you, a friend, or a family member and add your link on Alyce’s site.   Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.

These photos are from the Dallas Arboretum Garden.

I don’t know what type of flower this is, searched it, but can’t find the name.  Do you know?

Marigolds

Wild Foxglove

I came across some printed photographs the other day and thought, “Where are these?”  I checked my external drive – couldn’t find them, checked the hard drive on my PC, couldn’t find him – ditto with my laptop hard drive.  Finally found a DVD I had burned the pics too, and transferred them to my external.  *shew*  Wonder how many more pictures I need to transfer!  One of my biggest fears is losing pictures!

These were taken Mother’s Day, 2008 in Dallas at the Texas Discovery Gardens.  I don’t know what kind of flowers most of these are, but if you know, I’d love for you to tell me!

See the Spider?

The fountains

Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!

We traveled to Columbus, GA to visit our daughter, son-in-law, and baby grand-daughter for Mother’s Day weekend.  While we were there we visited the Fort Benning and went to the National Infantry Museum & Soldier Center .  Here are some photos of the museum – it details Wars and Battles in America chronologically.

And one last picture of the grandbaby!
